Following in footsteps of Wojciech Plewiński, great master photographer of documentary era in Poland, this small sectional archive of selected images is an ongoing life-long project. Selected images here, held in tradition of humanist street photography, are sort of visual notebook of a walking photographer. Shot mostly on film and adopting Plewiński's aesthetic they cover different stylistic ranges - from private impressions, observations to occasional ironic images with quietly absurdist edge.
This project is dedicated also to the mind and eye of photographer trying to free himself from constraints of photographic style and communicate with all of the languages available to the medium, transcending parameters imposed by commisions, deadlines and technology. It is also a cycle through which, by reflecting on personal archive, an important question is asked again after Plewiński - what is it that binds all of photographer's images that he decided to make and that seems to be seemingly disconnected from one another.
